For my family party for my 30th birthday I decided to have a BBQ on the beach (my parents, Tracy’s sister and mom were able to make it). We picked Pomponio State Beach (located on the coast between Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay) because it isn’t crowded and it has a great BBQ area. It was a bit chilly but it was a clear, brisk day and everyone bundled up (I wore my favorite bear hat). We also did item #24 message in a bottle) during the BBQ too.
