This item ended up being tougher to complete than I originally thought. During my 30th birthday BBQ at the beach I planned on throwing out a message in a bottle. The message was short and merely said the location, date, and that it was for my 30th birthday. I decided to not leave an email address or contact information because I was nervous about a park ranger finding it. My first attempt at launching it into the ocean was a big fail and it came right back to shore with the waves. We tried three other times and ended up partially burying it out in the sand (it wasn’t in a foot traffic area of the beach or where anyone was in the water).
